Q. Which ereader should I buy?

A. None. Not until you read our ereader sections on how get started Free of Charge, and the pros and cons of various ereaders.

Q. How do I buy books from Oceanbooks?

A. The easiest way is to purchase them on your PC. Going through the credit card routine is much simpler using a keyboard. After you've bought a book, you can then download it into your particular ereader. We have guides on how to download into Android tablets and smartphones, iPhones and iPads, Amazon Kindle, and Sony Kobo.

Q. I downloaded a book, but it arrived as a zip file.

A. That can happen on some computers. Simply rename the file extension, that is the letters after the dot in the file. e.g. say your book is called testbook. Then rename testbook.zip to testbook.epub. OR, if it is a kindle book, rename from testbook.zip to testbook.mobi

Q. How do I download my ebook after I've purchased it?

A. You will be sent an email with two options in it. Firstly, you can log into your account on Oceanbooks. Click on the Login link at the top of every Oceanbooks webpage. You will see an option to look at your downloadable products. Or secondly, later in the same email, there is a download link listed under the Item heading. Click on that, and your ebook will instantly download.

Q. Where will it download to?

A. It will normally download to your Downloads folder.
