As a member of the Cat, Rat and Dog pack, Dusty (due to pressure from his mates) is to take on the female starring role in the pop group, ‘Bubbles and the Soapy Heads’ in the school talent quest. With the winner taking all, Beansprout, Spud, Brain-box and Dusty must learn to work together as a team — but serious questions must be asked:
Can Dusty learn to walk in high heel shoes?
Who gave Dusty his Teddy Bear Boxers?
What was the problem with Bailey Brain-Box’s sister’s slinky stockings
With all these question marks, can they win the supreme prize?
Or will they be down and out low-life-flipper-floppers?

- a really funny book Review by Cade
- I really like this book because the boys are good mates and always getting in trouble but nothing really bad to make their parents go mental. Its a really funny book and Dusty is the main clown. My sister likes the book too because she says it shows how stupid boys are. She says it proves that girls are superier. (Posted on 16/04/12)
